Built for movement. Backed by service. Here’s how returns, exchanges, and refunds work at Godspeed Shorts.

We design limited-run garments with premium materials and NYC-rooted craftsmanship. If something isn’t right, we’ll make it right. Most unworn items can be returned or exchanged within the posted return window, subject to the guidelines below.
Return Window
- Full‑price items: return or exchange within 14 days of delivery.
- Sale items (not marked Final Sale): return or exchange within 7 days of delivery.
- Final Sale items: not eligible for return, exchange, or refund.
Return eligibility is based on the delivery date scan from the carrier.
Eligibility & Condition
- Items must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and free of odors or marks.
- All original tags, labels, and packaging (polybag, stickers, accessories) must be included.
- Include the packing slip or your order number and email for identification.
Returns that do not meet these conditions may be declined or subject to a restocking fee of up to 10%.
Non‑Returnable Items
- Items marked “Final Sale,” limited collaboration pieces where stated, and gift cards.
- Hygiene‑sensitive items (e.g., socks, underwear) if/when offered.
- Customized or altered products.
How to Start a Return
- Have your order number and the email used at checkout ready.
- Email [email protected] with subject “Return Request – Order #XXXX”.
- We’ll reply with next steps and, if eligible, a prepaid return label (U.S. orders) or instructions.
- Pack items securely in original packaging when possible and drop them off within 7 days of label issuance.
Pro tip: Try on over clean garments to preserve return eligibility.
Exchanges
- One-time size or color exchange is available for U.S. orders, subject to stock.
- We’ll ship the exchange after your return is scanned by the carrier or upon receipt at our facility.
- If the requested item is unavailable, we’ll issue a refund to your original payment method instead.
Refunds & Processing
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.
- Original shipping charges are non‑refundable unless we made an error.
- Processing time: 3–5 business days after your return is delivered to our facility, plus your bank’s posting time (up to 10 business days).
- Approved returns missing packaging/tags may incur up to a 10% restocking fee.
International Returns
- Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, duties, and taxes.
- Mark the shipment as “Return to Seller” to avoid additional import fees.
- Exchanges for international orders are processed as a return + new purchase.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, contact us within 7 days with photos and your order number at [email protected]. We’ll correct it swiftly.
Final Sale & Limited Drops
- Items marked “Final Sale” cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Some limited drops and collaborations may be Final Sale—this will be stated on the product page and/or at checkout.
- Price adjustments are not offered on limited drops or items that later go on promotion.
Return Shipping Costs
- U.S. returns: We may provide a prepaid label; the cost may be deducted from your refund unless a free returns window is active at checkout.
- International returns: Customer is responsible for shipping and any import fees.
Late or Missing Refunds
- Check with your bank or card issuer; posting can take up to 10 business days.
- Contact us with your return tracking if it’s been more than 15 business days since delivery to our facility.
Holiday & Gift Returns
Gifted items can be exchanged for size or store credit when returned in new condition within the posted window. During the holiday season, extended windows may apply—see the notice at checkout or contact support.
